Deion Sanders, son of Mims Sanders and Connie Sanders was born on August 9, 1967, in Fort Myers Florida. When he was a kid, he dreams of being a sportsman and he was passionate about it. He started to follow his dreams when he was in high school.
He completed his high school at North Fort Myers High School and became a letterman there. He played baseball, basketball, and football there. In 1985, in the top 33 players, he was selected in the Florida High School Association All-Century team.
Later he went to Florida State University, where he played baseball and ran track and was the two-time All-American in Football.

High School Career:
Sanders was a letterman in North Fort Myers High School and was selected in the top 33 players in the Florida High School Association All-Century team in the 100-year history of the High School football of the state.
In the sixth round of the 1985 Major League Baseball draft, The Kanas City Royals selected Sanders but he didn’t sign with them.
College Career:
He completed his college at Florida State University. He was two-time All-Amerian in 1987 and 1988, under the head coach Bobby Bowden. In 1989, he won the Jim Trophy Award. In the 1989 Sugar Bowl, Sanders made an interception with 5 seconds left to secure Florida State’s 13–7 win against Auburn.
His Jersy at Florida State, #2 retired in 1995. He ended his College Football Career with 126 punt returns for 1,429 yards.
In Baseball he hit .331 in 1986 under the head coach Mike Martin and stole 27 bases in 1987. On May 16, 1987, Sanders played the conference semifinal baseball game against Southern Mississippi in the Metro Conference Baseball and Track Championship.

With 56 Stolen bases in 115 games, he was placed 2nd in the 1997 NL, before leaving Baseball for 3 years. In 2001 he returned back to the Reds but just after playing 29 games with a batting rate of .173 he was released.
He then signed a Minor League Contract with Toronto Blue Jays but found a loophole in the contract so the Redskins made him return back to them. But due to his Football Contract, he left his Baseball career in 2001.

Baltimore Ravens: He was about to retire but his friend convinced him and he signed a 1 year deal with Ravens in 2004. His jersey number was 37 which matched his age. He remained with the ravens till 2005 and played all 16 games with them but failed to qualify for the postseason so Sanders retired in January 2006.
