Son of Gordon Gronkowski and Diane Walter, Rob Gronkowski was born on May 14, 1989, in Amherst, New York, and he grew up in Williamsville. He is the second youngest son. His father was a football player at Syracuse University. Unfortunately, his parents divorced in 2008.

His grandfather Ignatius Gronkowski was a professional cyclist who even represent the United States at the 1924 Summer Olympics in Cycling. Rob’s four brothers Gordie, Dan, Chris, and Glenn, all played professional football.
